If you are pregnant, or planning to be, let us help you with information and support provided all the way through to your baby's first birthday with our Total Health for Pregnancy program!

When you enrol on our pregnancy program, we provide you with a host of services right from the start, such as:

  • Regular contact from an experienced midwife
  • A phone-in service to our midwives for those unexpected questions
  • Our special ‘email a midwife’ service
  • Comprehensive books on pregnancy & birth and your new baby
  • Online tools and information available any time of the day or night.

We’ll contact you at regular intervals - through your pregnancy and after your baby is born – to help answer your questions and provide information on all the important topics, including:

  • Progress of your pregnancy
  • Exercise
  • Common complaints
  • Standard tests and procedures
  • Healthy eating
  • Baby care.

And to celebrate the birth of your new baby we'll send you a special gift!

Am I eligible?

You can enrol on our Total Health for Pregnancy Program if you:

  • Are pregnant, or have a child under 12 months
  • Have Top Hospital or Family Hospital (with or without a co-payment) with ahm. This means Top Hospital, Top Hospital Level 5, Top Hospital Level 8, Family Hospital* or Family Hospital Level 5. More about Top Hospital and Family Hospital Level 5
  • You must have served your 12 month waiting period.

*Please note: From 1st August 2009, Family Hospital will be closed.
